POSITIONING
A Membership, Not Another Course.
Financial information is easy to find. Consistent implementation is harder. RISE USA is designed to provide ongoing structure, practical tools, regular reviews, and accountability—not another collection of videos that participants complete and forget.
THIS IS NOT
- A one-time financial seminar
- Individualized investment advice
- A get-rich-quick program
- A promise of guaranteed results
- A program built around shame or pressure
THIS IS
- A guided financial-education membership
- A practical action plan
- Coaching and accountability
- Monthly and quarterly review systems
- A community focused on consistent progress
- A financial operating system participants can continue using
Most People Do Not Need More Information. They Need a Working System.
Many households know they should save, reduce debt, prepare for retirement, and build assets. The difficulty is knowing where to begin, how to organize competing priorities, and how to stay consistent after the initial motivation fades.
Common barriers to long-term financial progress include:
NO CLEAR ROADMAP
Goals exist, but the starting point, deadline, and next action remain undefined.
CONSUMER DEBT
Interest and minimum payments reduce the amount available for savings and ownership.
NO CONSISTENT SAVINGS SYSTEM
Saving depends on what remains instead of being intentionally planned.
NO ACCOUNTABILITY
Financial plans are rarely reviewed, measured, or adjusted.
NO LEGACY PREPARATION
Important documents, beneficiaries, family conversations, and long-term intentions remain incomplete.
THE THREE PILLARS
Income. Savings. Equity.
A System Designed to Grow With You.
01
START SMALL
Begin with an amount that is realistic for your current circumstances.
The presentation uses $25 per day as an illustrative example, but RISE USA does not assume that every household can begin at the same amount. The first goal is to identify a repeatable action that can be maintained.
02
SCALE SMART
Increase saving or investing when income rises, debt payments end, or expenses decrease.
A strong system does not remain frozen. It is reviewed and adjusted as income, responsibilities, goals, and financial capacity change.
03
STAY CONSISTENT
Continue through different seasons and review the plan regularly.
Consistency does not mean ignoring emergencies or changing circumstances. It means returning to the plan, adjusting it responsibly, and continuing the process.

James Earl Hollywood III
FOUNDER · LEAD EDUCATOR · RISE USA
James Earl Hollywood III is an educator, strategist, entrepreneur, nonprofit leader, and public speaker whose career has included workforce development, youth development, nonprofit leadership, higher education, community partnerships, and organizational strategy.
He created RISE USA after recognizing that many people are taught to work hard without being given a clear system for turning income into stability, ownership, and legacy.
“I did not learn wealth building growing up. I had to learn it later. RISE USA exists to shorten that learning curve for others.”

Roadmap to Income, Savings, and Equity
RISE is an acronym — the meaning of the brand. It is not the method (that comes next). The roadmap is a written financial direction that connects present conditions, future goals, and the next measurable action.
R
Roadmap
A written financial direction that connects present conditions, future goals, and the next measurable action.
I
Income
The money a person or household earns, protects, manages, and works to increase responsibly.
S
Savings
The financial margin, reserves, and disciplined habits that create stability and options.
E
Equity
Ownership in assets, businesses, retirement accounts, property, intellectual property, education, and other resources that may strengthen long-term net worth.
Start Small. Scale Smart. Stay Consistent.
The behavioral method — three commitments that turn a roadmap into results. Do not confuse the acronym with the method: RISE is what the brand means; this is how members work.
COMMITMENT 01
Start Small
Begin with a repeatable amount that fits your current circumstances — the habit matters more than the size. An example of a meaningful starting point for some households is $25 per day; yours may be smaller or larger.
COMMITMENT 02
Scale Smart
When a raise lands, a debt payment ends, or expenses fall, move part of that new margin into your future instead of absorbing it all into your lifestyle. Scaling tracks your capacity — you rarely feel the jump.
COMMITMENT 03
Stay Consistent
Time invested tends to matter more than timing. Consistency means returning to the plan after hard months, reviewing it regularly, and adjusting responsibly — not ignoring emergencies.
The Four-Phase Ladder — An Illustration
These amounts are examples used to demonstrate gradual increases. Each participant’s starting amount and ability to increase contributions will vary based on income, debt, emergency needs, household responsibilities, goals, and other circumstances.
PHASE 1 · YEARS 1–2
$25/day
$750/mo · $9,125/yr
Build the muscle. Smallest dollars — the most years to grow.
PHASE 2 · YEARS 3–5
$50/day
$1,500/mo · $18,250/yr
Promote the raise. When new margin appears, move it forward.
PHASE 3 · YEARS 6–10
$75/day
$2,250/mo · $27,375/yr
Compounding shows up. Growth begins to outpace contributions.
PHASE 4 · YEARS 11–20
$100/day
$3,000/mo · $36,500/yr
Steward the machine. Early discipline now does the heavy lifting.
Starting earlier may provide more time for long-term compounding, but financial priorities and capacity differ by household. Model your own numbers in the Wealth-Building Calculator.
The Member Review Cycle
Plans fail quietly when nobody looks at them. RISE USA builds review into the calendar.

Frequently Misunderstood
“RISE means Start Small, Scale Smart, Stay Consistent.”
Not quite. RISE means Roadmap to Income, Savings, and Equity. Start Small, Scale Smart, Stay Consistent is the RISE Method — the behavior, not the acronym.
“Everyone starts at $25 per day.”
No. $25/day is an illustration. The right starting amount is the one your household can repeat — for some that is $3 a day, for others it is more.
“The projections show what I will earn.”
Projections are hypothetical educational illustrations at assumed rates. Actual returns may be lower, higher, or negative — nothing here is a prediction or guarantee.
“Consistency means never touching the plan.”
Consistency means returning to the plan and adjusting it responsibly as life changes — not ignoring emergencies or pretending circumstances never shift.
“Equity just means stocks.”
Equity is ownership in many forms: retirement accounts, businesses, property, intellectual property, education — resources that may strengthen long-term net worth.
“RISE USA will manage my money.”
RISE USA is a financial-education and accountability membership. It never manages money, connects to accounts, or gives individualized investment advice.
RISE USA provides financial education for general informational purposes and does not provide individualized financial, investment, securities, legal, tax, insurance, credit-repair, or debt-settlement advice. Consult appropriately qualified professionals before making decisions based on your individual circumstances.

What RISE USA Is — and Is Not
RISE USA is a financial-education and accountability platform. It teaches budgeting, saving, debt management, general investing principles, retirement-account concepts, goal setting, net worth, career and income development, entrepreneurship, financial organization, estate-document preparation concepts, beneficiary awareness, and legacy planning.
RISE USA is not a registered investment adviser, brokerage, bank, insurance agency, tax-preparation service, law firm, credit-repair company, debt-settlement company, or securities-trading platform — and it never promises that participants will become wealthy or that any investment return will occur.
It will never tell you which stock to buy, how to allocate a portfolio, which insurance product to purchase, how to structure an estate, how to file taxes, or that any specific result is guaranteed. Those decisions belong with you and appropriately qualified professionals.
Designed for people who…

- Have started saving but struggle with consistency
- Want to improve financial habits
- Want accountability
- Need a system for quarterly reviews
- Want to build assets over time

- Prefer guided implementation over learning alone
May not be appropriate if you are seeking…
- Individual stock recommendations
- Portfolio management
- Tax preparation
- Legal representation
- Insurance sales
- Credit repair
- Debt settlement
- Guaranteed financial results
- Immediate wealth

Working-Class Roots
James grew up in a working household where effort was never in short supply — but financial systems were. Money was earned, stretched, and spent surviving; nobody at the kitchen table had been taught how income becomes ownership. That gap, he later realized, was not a family failure. It was a missing education.
A First-Generation Education Journey
As a first-generation graduate, James navigated higher education without a map — applications, financial aid, and the unwritten rules of professional life all had to be learned in real time. The experience shaped RISE USA’s founding conviction: people are not behind because they are incapable; they are behind because nobody handed them the system.
Workforce Development
In workforce development, James helped adults translate new jobs into stable lives — and saw the same pattern on repeat: a paycheck alone does not build stability. Understanding take-home pay, benefits, and the first small savings habit changes a household faster than a raise.
Nonprofit Leadership
Leading in the nonprofit sector taught James how to build programs that survive contact with real life — programs with structure, follow-up, and accountability rather than a single inspiring event. That operating discipline is the backbone of the RISE USA membership.
Teaching in Higher Education
In the classroom, James learned that people do not retain what they hear — they retain what they practice. RISE USA is built the same way: every concept is attached to a worksheet, a review, or a next action.
Entrepreneurship
As an entrepreneur, James lived the irregular-income reality many members face: revenue that arrives unevenly, taxes that must be reserved, and the discipline of paying yourself with a plan. The entrepreneur tracks in RISE USA come from that lived experience.
Community Leadership
Through community partnerships — with churches, schools, and local organizations — James saw that financial education lands best where trust already lives. That is why RISE USA is designed to travel into organizations, not just onto screens.
Why Legacy Is Personal
As a father, James thinks about legacy in concrete terms: the documents in order, the beneficiaries named, the conversations had, and the habits modeled at his own kitchen table. Legacy, in the RISE USA framework, is not what you leave behind by accident — it is what you prepare on purpose.
Why RISE USA Was Created
“I did not learn wealth building growing up. I had to learn it later. RISE USA exists to shorten that learning curve for others.” The mission is a working system — roadmap, method, tools, and accountability — offered with respect and without shame, to people at every starting point.
